Whilst neighbouring pétanque regions nearby such as Yorkshire Pétanque and East-Midlands have developed a strong pétanque scene, for a long time, the North West remained neglected and underserved.
However, with the rise of PNW this status-quo is undergoing change. Starting from the ground-up, we are building the foundations of something remarkable and we would love you to be a part of that journey.
PNW is committed to growing pétanque, inspiring players to take up the sport and train hard for serious competition.
that pétanque holds the ability to unite communities, provide opportunities for individuals to engage actively and achieve personal success and goals.
PNW is focused on inspiring youth to embrace pétanque, develop their skills, and compete with passion and dedication.
PNW collaborates with players, clubs, and larger organisations to promote pétanque as a sustainable and viable sport in our region. This includes engaging in discussions and meetings with a variety of stakeholders.
In addition, we organise playing opportunities for all skill levels, giving you the chance to improve your game and build lasting friendships within a welcoming pétanque community.
Even at a senior age, in petanque I can still compete with a younger opponent.
By engaging with sports such as pétanque, charity organisations, or community projects have the power to produce a ripple effect that enhances the overall well-being of society. Whether it's through local leagues, tournaments, or online platforms, participation can spark conversations and draw attention to important issues.
PNW continues to support the Team GB Transplant athletes to help them compete internally.
